Recently, I did Children’s Church. The subject was the Armor of God. It says in Ephesians 6:18, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching there unto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Perseverance means persistence in doing something difficult. I read a book to the class. Its title was the Tortoise and the Hare. The hare was arrogant and fast, but the tortoise was humble and steadfast. The tortoise prepared for the race and just kept going. Prepare and be steady in running your race. When there is a bump in the road, pray and keep moving. Always finish your race no matter the curve in the road.
